Description: | Leaf spots angular or irregular, vein-limited, 0.5-2 mm wide, often confluent to form larger spots, dark brown, paler on lower surface. Fruiting amphigenous, but more abundant on lower surface. Stromata when present small, dark brown. Conidiophores arise singly or 2-7 in a fascicle, pale to medium olivaceous brown, paler at the apex, sparingly septate, not branched, 1-2 geniculate, subtruncate at tip, with thickened conidial scars, 25-60 × 4-5 μm. Conidia hyaline to subhyaline, acicular to obclavate, straight to curved, indistinctly multiseptate, acute at the apex, truncate or subtruncate at the base with a thickened hilum, 25-90 × 2-3 μm. | |||
