 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 18-20 mm, center pulvinate, floccose, subcenter sul-cate, velutinous, margin entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, greenish grey to dull green or greyish green (26-27C-D2-4), to turquoise grey (24CD2); exudate yellowish white (1A2); soluble pigment absent; reverse greenish grey to greyish yellow or greyish green (1B-C2-3), orange white to pale orange (5A2-3), dull red to greyish red (8C3-5) or brownish grey to olive brown (4E2-3). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 17-20 mm, plane, velutinous, entire floccose, margin entire, narrow; mycelium white; onidiogenesis heavy, greyish green (27D-E3-5); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish grey to greyish yellow (4B2-3, 3C2-3). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 3-6 mm, with restricted growth. CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no growth. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from superficial and aerial myce-lium; stipes septate, 36-180 × 2.4-3.6 μm, smooth to finely roughened, more or less thick walled; penicilli biverticillate, sometimes monoverticillate or terverticillate; rami smooth- very finely roughened, in groups of 2, 18.4-35.2 × 2.8-4.0 μm; metulae in verticils of 2-9, very finely roughened, 8.0-13.8 × 2.4-3.2 μm, phialides in verticils of 3-7, acerose, smooth, 8.8-15.0 × 2.4-2.8 μm, collula gradually tapering; conidia narrowly ellipsoidal, 2.4-4.0 × 2.0-2.3 μm, smooth to very finely roughened, more or less thick walled, borne in loose, dis-ordered columns.
