 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 8-11 mm, center deep, subcenter sulcate, dense, velutinous, margin entire, narrow, floccose; mycelium reddish grey, greyish red to pastel red (7A-B2-5) or yellowish white to pale yellow (3A2-3), margin white; conidiogenesis abun-dant, greyish green (26D-E4-6); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish to red-dish brown (9D-E3-5), orange white to light orange (6A2-4) or reddish grey to greyish red (7B2-4). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 17-20 mm, plane, velutinous, margin entire, narrow, floccose; mycelium white; onidiogenesis abundant, greyish to dark green (27E-F6-8); exu-date lack; soluble pigment pinkish to pastel red (7A2-4) or orange white to pale orange (6A2-3); reverse greyish to brownish red (9B-C6-8), yellowish white to pale yellow (1A2-3) or greenish grey to greyish yellow (1B2-3). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no growth. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from aerial mycelium; stipes septate, 68-200 × 2.8-4.0 μm, smooth to finely roughened, thin walled; penicilli biverticillate, metulae in verticils of 7-11, smooth, 8.0-13.8 × 2.4-3.3 μm; phialides in verticils of 7-10, acerose, 8.0-11.1 × 2.0-2.8 μm, collula mostly long, gradually tapering; conidia ellipsoidal, 2.4-3.3 × 2.0-2.3 μm, finely roughened to roughened with striations, thick walled, borne in irregular columns.
