 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 28-30 mm, center depressed, deep, radially sulcate, velutinous, margin thin, entire; mycelium white to yellow (3A6-7); conidiogenesis abundant, dull green (26D3-4) or greenish grey to greyish green (25C2-3); exudate pale to pale yellow (2A2-3); soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish orange (4A6-7) to greyish yellow (4C6-7). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 28-33 mm, plane, velutinous; mycelium white over-laid with abundant globose, sclerotioid sclerotia, 200-240 mm, yellowish white (1-2A2); conidiogenesis sparse, greyish green (25C3-4) to dull green (25D3-4); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish grey to greyish yellow (2B-C2-3) or yellowish white to pale yellow (2-4A2-3). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 9-13 mm, center somewhat raised, subcenter, low, wrinkled, floccose, margin entire, effuse; mycelium white; conidiogenesis light-moderate, greyish green (26B-C3-4); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse pale yellow greyish yellow (3-4A-B2-4). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: germination with limited growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from superficial and aerial myce-lium; stipes septate, 48-390 × 2.4-3.2 μm, smooth, more or less thick walled; penicilli mostly biverticillate, sometimes monoverticillate, uncommonly terverticillate; metulae in verticils of 3-6, smooth to finely roughened, 8.4-13.6 × 2.4-3.2 μm; phialides in verticils of 3-13, ampulliform, occasionally slightly acerose, smooth to very finely roughened, 6.4-9.6 × 2.4-3.2 μm; collula more or less long, mostly gradually tapering; conidia ellipsoidal to sub-spheroidal, 2.0-3.4 × 2.0-2.8 μm, finely roughened to roughened, more or less thick walled, borne in loose, disordered columns.
