Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 26-30 mm, dense, sulcate, sometimes deep, velutinous, margin entire; mycelium white to pale yellow to light yellow (4A3-5); conidiogenesis abundant, greenish grey-greyish green (25-26BD2-3) or dull green (27D2-3); exudate clear, yellowish white (1A2, 2A2); soluble pigment absent; reverse brownish orange (5C4-6) or golden blond (4C4-6). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 23-31 mm, plane, velutinous to slight floccose, sectors somewhat raised, floccose; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (30C3-5; 30D3-5); exudates lacking; soluble pigment very faint, yellowish white to pale yellow (3A2-3); reverse greyish yellow (4B4-6), light blond to greyish yellow (5C3-5) or yellowish white to pale yellow (4A2-3). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 8-11 mm; center somewhat raised, wrinkled, velutinous, margin floccose, entire; mycelium white to greyish yellow (2B3-4); co-nidiogenesis moderate-heavy, greyish green (25C3-5); exudates and soluble pigment absent; reverse pale yellow to light yellow (4A2-3). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no growth or with limited growth, sometimes colonies diameter up to 1-1.5 mm. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from aerial and superficial mycelium; mycelium roughened; stipes septate, 16-87 × 2.0-3.2 μm, smooth to finely roughened, thick-walled; penicilli mostly biverticillate, sometimes monoverticillate, occasionally terverticillate; metulae in verticals of 2-4, finely roughened, 8.8-12.2 × 2.0-2.8 μm; phialides in verticals of 5-12, ampulliform, very finely roughened, 5.6-8.0 × 2.0-2.8 μm, collula abruptly narrowing; conidia subspheroidal to spheroidal, 2.2-3.2 μm, spinose, thick walled, borne in well-defined columns.
