 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 23-26 mm, dense, radially sulcate, velutinous, center somewhat raised, loose, floccose margin narrow; entire; mycelium white or light yellow to reddish yellow (4A4-7); conidiogenesis abundant, yellowish grey (4B2); exudates clear, yellowish white (1A2); soluble pigment yellowish grey to greyish yellow (4B2-3); reverse brownish orange (6C5-6) MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 27-29 mm, plane, velutinous, margin thin, effuse; mycelium white to yellowish orange (5B2); conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (27C3-5); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse yellow to olive yellow (3B-C4-6), or yellowish white (1A2). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 10-15 mm, dense, center somewhat raised, radially sulcate, velutinous, margin broad, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis light to moderate, greyish green (26-27C3-4); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish yellow, yellowish white or light yellow to blond (4A-C2-4). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: germination or no growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA mostly borne from superficial mycelium; stipes septate, 38-240 × 3.2-5.6 μm; distinctly roughened, mostly thin walled; penicilli mostly terverticillate, occasionally biverticillate; or quaterverticillate; rami roughened, in groups of 1-2, 12.7-23.0 × 2.4-3.6 μm; ramuli roughened, in group of 1-3, 7.9-18.5 × 2.8-4.0 μm; metulae in verticils of 3-6, roughened, 9.5-13.5 × 2.4-3.2 μm; phialides in verticils of 5-9, ampulliform, smooth, 7.5-8.7 × 2.4-3.6 μm, collula gradually tapering; conidia subglobose to globose, less often ellipsoidal, 2.8-3.6 × 2.8-3.2 μm, smooth to finely roughened, thin walled, borne in long, compact, defined columns.
