MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 17-19 mm, center raised, floccose, subcenter, margin more or less deep, velutinous, narrow, white; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, mostly superficial, sometimes aerial, dark green (27F4-6, 26F3-4) to greyish green (27F4-6); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish yellow (3C3-4) to yellowish grey (3B2-3). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 8-13 mm, center raised, pulvinate, floccose, margin entire, broad, white; mycelium white; exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish yellow to reddish yellow (4B3-7, 4C3-7). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: germination, with restricted growth, occasionally forming 1.5-2.5 mm colonies, white. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne mostly from surface, rarely from aerial mycelium; stipes septate, apices non-vesiculate, 9.5-63.5 × 1.5-2.4 μm, smooth, thin-walled, monoverticillate, sometimes biverticillate, bearing 2-3 verticils of metulae of (2)3-13 phialides; metulae 8.9-22.2 × 1.0-2.8 μm, smooth; phialides ampulliform, smooth, 5.5-7.9 × 2.0-2.4 μm, mostly with short collula; conidia subspheroidal, (1.2)2.0-2.4 μm, smooth, borne in compact, defined chains. | |||
