Description: | Colonies on PDA grow slower than on YG, margin irregularly wrinkled and radially furrow, reaching 45 mm at 40°C in 10 days, the color of the central area white, pale rhodonite pink, white and yellow in mixture; reverse kaiser brown or dark red brown, with a strong rotten fish meal order. Vegetative hyphae 2-8 μm in diameter, hyaline, the conspicuous swellen near the septum, 5-9 μm in diameter. No conidiophore differentiated. Fertile hyphae branched from the vegetative hyphae. Fertile tip usually bent into small loop or coiled, finally articulated into arthroconidia and becoming single or in chain. Conidia, yellow green, cubic, broadly ellip-tical, cylindrical or slightly curved, 3.2-4.5 × 3.9-7.7 μm, with conspicuous frills at both ends. | |||
