 Description: Colony diameters on Czapek’s Agar 6.5-6.8 cm in 10 days at 25°C, conspicuously floccose; mycelium white to yellow; conidial heads radiate to globose, old gold to cinnamon-brown (R., Plate XVI, XV); reverse yellowish white; stipes smooth, uncolored, 70-870 × 5.0-23.0 μm; vesicles globose, subglobose to clavate, 7.5-98.0 μm in diameter. Aspergilla biseriate, metulae often inflated, covering 1/2 to the whole surface of the vesicle, 5.6-68.0 × 4.8-26.0 μm; phialides 5.8-14.2 × 3.3-5.0 μm; conidia globose, subglobose to pyriform, 4.2-6.7 × 3.8-5.8 μm, irregularly roughened to very rough. Colony diameters on Malt Extract Agar 4.3-4.9 cm at 25°C in 10 days, floccose; mycelium white to yellow; conidial heads radiate, citrine, orange-citrine to medal bronze (R., Plate IV); reverse colorless, pale yellow to greyish orange.
