Description: | Leaf spots epihyllous, circular, brown in the center dark brown at the margin, 3-15 mm in diam. Perithecia epiphyllous, immersed, globose or pyriform, scattered, apex erumpent, brown, ostiolate, setae absent, 101-157 μm in diam. Asci clavate, unitunicate, with a narrow long stalk, apex thickened, and sometimes somewhat truncate, with an apical ring, 8-spored, 110-118 × 17-20 μm. Ascospores ellipsoid, ends rounded, straight to inequilateral, 1-septate in the lower third, constricted, the upper cell wider and longer then the lower cell, biseriate at the lower part, yellowish, 15-25 × 7-11 μm. | |||
