 Description: Leaf spots orbicular to elliptical, scattered, 2-5 mm, grayish brown to dark brown, paler at the center with an indefinite darker border. Fruiting amphigenous, more abundant on lower surface. Secondary mycelium external: hyphae olivaceous to pale brown, 2-5 μm wide, septate, branched, repent or climbing the setae of the leaf, bearing secondary conidiophores as erect lateral branches. Stromata absent. Conidiophores 2-10 in a divergent fascicle or just loosely aggregated. emerging from the stomata or arise singly from the secondary mycelial hyphae, yellowish olivaceous to medium brown, paler towards the apex until almost colourless at the tip, 2-7 septate, not branched, conic or narrowly rounded at the apex, 20-90 × 3-4 μm, conidial scars unthickened and inconspicuous. Conidia obclavate or obclavato-cylindric, straight to slightly curved, hyaline, indistinctly 1-3 septate, acute to subobtuse at the apex, obconic at the base, 10-35 × 1.5-3 μm; hilum unthickened and inconspicuous.
