 Description: Leaf spots angular to irregular, vein-limited, 1-3 mm wide, brown or purplish, paler on the lower surface. Fruiting hypophyllous. Stromata absent. Secondary mycelium external: hyphae emerging through the stomata or arise from the base of a loose fascicle, subhyaline to very pale olivaceous brown, repent or arcuate, distinctly septate, branched, 1.5-2.5 μm wide. Conidiophores 2-6 in a fascicle or borne terminally and laterally on the secondary mycelial hyphae, pale olivaceous brown, uniform in colour and width, simple or branched, straight or slightly undulate, 0-2 septate, sometimes constricted at the septa, not geniculate, rounded or conic at the apex, 5-35 × 2-4 μm. Conidia subhyaline to very pale olivaceous, narrowly obclavate or filiform, straight to slightly curved, indistinctly 3-10 septate, subacute at the apex, obconically truncate at the base, 17-100 × 2-3 μm.
