 Description: Leaf spots orbicular, at first dark brown, 0.5-1 mm wide, soon becoming larger, suborbicular, grayish brown, with a dark brown margin, more distinct on the upper surface, 10-15 mm wide, sometimes coalescing into larger and irregular spots. Fruiting amphigenous. Secondary mycelium absent. Stromata dark brown, subglobose, may up to 45 μm or more in diameter. Conidiophores dense to very dense in a fascicle, pale olivaceous brown, sometimes branched, not geniculate, 0-2 septate, 15-30 × 2.5-3.5 μm; conidial scars unthickened. Conidia cylindric to long obclavate, straight to curved, pale olivaceous, 2-8 septate, apex subacute to subobtuse or rarely rounded, base obconic to obconically truncate 20-70 × 2-3 μm; hilum unthickened.
