 Description: Leaf spots orbicular to suborbicular or somewhat zonate, 2-7 mm wide, dingy pale brown at center, with a narrow dark brown margin and an indefinite yellow halo. Fruiting amphigenous, scantily effuse at the center, grayish. Stromata small. Conidiophores 9-16 in a fascicle, pale olivaceous brown, bent or crooked, rarely branched, 0-3 septate. 0-3 geniculate, conic to subtruncate at the apex, 15-50 × 3-4 μm; conidial scars unthickened. Conidia obclavate, mostly straight or rarely slightly curved, hyaline, 2-8 septate, constricted at the septa, acute at the apex, subobconic to obconically truncate at the base, 30-110 × 3-5.5 μm; hilum unthickened.

 Note: This fungus differs from Pseudocercospora jussiaeae (Atkinson) Deighton (1976) by its conidia which are relatively wider, mostly straight, and constricted at the septa.
