 Description: Leaf spots angular to irregular, 1-4 mm in diameter, or coalescing into larger spots, brown or tan, with an indefinite orange-coloured halo. Fruiting amphigenous but more abundant on the upper surface. Stromata dark brown, irregularly globose, 20-50 μm in diameter. Conidiophores densely fasciculate on the stromata or arise singly from the external hyphae (those on the lower surface), pale olivaceous brown or yellowish olivaceous, wavy to slightly irregular in width, conically rounded or subtruncate at the apex, 0-3 septate, sometimes geniculate, not branched, 5-50 × 3-4.5 μm; conidial scars unthickened. Conidia narrowly obclavate, subhyaline to pale olivaceous, straight to mildly curved, 2-8 septate, tip subacute to bluntly rounded, base obconic to obconically truncate, 25-90 × 2-4 μm; hilum unthickened.
