 Description: Leaf spots orbicular to irregular, 1-5 mm wide, dark brown to almost black, usually surrounded by a yellow halo. Fruiting amphigenous on young spots chiefly epiphyllous. Stromata small, dark brown, 20-30 μm wide. Conidiophores 5-10 in a fascicle, pale golden brown, irregular in width, 0-2 septate, 0-1 geniculate, not branched, rounded or truncate at the apex, 20-45 × 3-5 μm. Conidia subhyaline to pale olivaceous, obclavate to obclavato-cylindric, straight to slightly curved, 3-12 septate, subacute to subobtuse at the apex, truncate or obconically truncate at the apex, 40-100 × 3-4 μm.
