 Description: Leaf spots angular to irregular, vein-limited, 1-12 mm wide, reddish brown to grey brown, scattered. Fruiting amphigenous. Secondary mycelium absent. Conidiophores 3-20 in a fascicle, emerging through the stomata, pale to medium brown, uniform in colour, erect or tortuous near the apex, irregular in width, plainly multiseptate, constricted at some septa, not branched, 0-5 geniculate, truncate or bluntly rounded at the apex, 40-250 × 4-7 μm, conidial scars conspicuously thickened. Conidia hyaline, acicular, straight to curve, or undulate, indistinctly multiseptate, acute at the apex, truncate at the base with a conspicuously thickened hilum, 50-200 × 1.5-3 μm.
