Description: | Leaf spots circular to angular, 1-4 mm in diameter, grey with a raised brown line margin. Fruiting chiefly hypophyllous. Stromata lacking or a few dark brown cells. Conidiophores 1-10 in a fascicle, emerging through the stomata, pale to medium dark brown, uniform in color or paler at the apex, branching absent, septate, longer ones undulate, geniculate, 40-180 × 4.5-7 μm; conidial scars conspicuously thickened. Conidia acicular, hyaline, straight to mildly curved, indistinctly multiseptate, acute at the apex, truncate to short obconically truncate at the base, 20-150 × 3.5-6 μm. | |||
