 Description: Leaf spots angular, 1-3 mm wide, grey center with a dark brown margin. Fruiting amphigenous but more abundant on the lower surface. Stromata lacking or small. Conidiophores borne single or up to 15 in a fascicle, medium brown, uniform in colour but paler at the apex, multiseptate, irregular in width or constricted at the septa, sometimes branched, variously curved or crooked, geniculate, round or truncate at the apex, 40-200 μm × 4-6.5 μm, conidial scars conspicuously thickened. Conidia hyaline, acicular to obdavate, straight to mildly curved, indistinctly multiseptate, subacute at the apex, truncate or obconic at the base with a thickened hilum, 20-200 μm × 2.5-4 μm.
