 Description: Leaf spots suborbicular to irregular, 4-10 mm wide, dingy grey to pale tan, with a dark brown slightly raised margin. Fruiting amphigenous, but more abundant on the upper surface. Stromata small or up to 40 μm. wide. Conidiophores 2-18 in a fascicle, pale to medium brown, paler towards the apex, multiseptate, not branched, straight or geniculate, subtruncate at the apex, 45-110 × 4-6 μm; conidial scars conspicuously thickened. Conidia hyaline, acicular, straight to slightly curved, acute or subacute at the apex, truncate at the base, 40-110 × 2.5-4 μm.
