Description: | Leaf spots orbicular, 3-10 mm wide, tan, grey, or white center with a reddish brown to almost black margin, sometimes distinctly zonate, paler on the lower surface. Fruiting amphigenous. Stromata lacking or up to 50 μm wide, globular, dark brown. Conidiophores 3-30 in a fascicle, pale olivaceous to medium brown, slightly paler near the apex, sometimes branched, multiseptate, geniculate, truncate at the apex, 20-200 × 4-6 μm. Conidia hyaline, acicular to obclavate, straight to mildly curved, indistinctly multiseptate, acute at the apex, truncate or subtruncate at the base, 40-150 × 2-4 μm. | |||
