 Description: Leaf spots angular to irregular, 1-5 mm wide, olivaceous to grayish brown, sometimes dingy grey with brown margin, often confluent. Fruiting chiefly epiphyllous. Stromata lacking or a few dark brown cells and up to 30 μm wide. Conidiophores 5-20 in a divergent fascicle, subhyaline to pale olivaceous brown, rarely medium brown, almost hyaline at the apex, attenuated or swollen in one or more places, multiseptate, rarely branched, geniculate, truncate at the apex, 20-70 × 4-6 μm; conidial scars conspicuously thickened. Conidia hyaline, indistinctly 3-9 septate, subacute or subobtuse at the apex, subtruncate at the base with a thickened hilum, 20-100 × 3-5 μm.
