 Description: Colonies diameter on Corn Meal Agar 85 mm in 47 days at 25°C, effuse, velutinous, orange white to pale orange or greyish oragne. Mycelium partly superficial, partly immersed, composed of branched, septate, smooth, hyaline to pale brown, 1.0-4.8 μm hyphae. Conidiophores macronematous, mononematous, simple or branched, straight or flexuous, septate, thick-walled, dark brown, paler towards the apex or both ends, smooth to verrucose, 79.4-404.7 X 2.2-5.8 μm. Conidiogenous cells monoblastic, discrete, sympodial, ovoid, smooth, hyaline to subhyaline, 5.0-9.2 X 2.5-4.2 μm. Conidia solitary, dry, acrogenous, ellipsoidal, obovoid, with a conspicuous scar at the base, 2-septate, smooth, olivaceous brown at the middle cell, subhyaline to pale greyish olive at the both end cells, or 1-septate, subhyaline to pale greyish olive, often constricted at the septate, 18.3-25.4 X 7.1-10.4 μm.

 Note: This is common species in Taiwan, It is characterized by monoblastic, discrete, hyaline conidiogenous cells and ellipsoidal, 2-sepate conidia with olivaceous brown middle cell and paler grayish olive at both end cells.
