Description: | Colonies diameter on oat Meal Agar 60 mm in 150 days at 25°C, effuse, velvety, brownish orange to greyish brown or dark brown; reverse light brown to dark brown. Mycelium partly superficial, partly immersed, composed of branched, septate, smooth or near so, pale greyish brown to middle greyish brown, 1.6-3.2 μm wide hyphae. Conidiophores macronematous, mononematous, single, straight, smooth, greyish brown, 23.2-48.0 × 2.8-4.8 μm. Conidiogenous cells denticulate, sympodial; conidial secession rhexolytic. Conidia polyblastic, elonged-obclavate, straight or curved, rostrate, 1-7-septate, smooth, pale greyish brown to greyish brown, 15.7-51.2 μm long, 3.0-4.2 μm wide at the broadest, often with a scar at the base. Phialide and Phialoconidia rarely formed. | |||
