 Description: Colonies diameter on Oat Meal Agar 53 mm in 24 days at 25°C, effuse, more or less floccose, olive brown to yellowish brown; reverse olive brown to dark brown. Mycelium partly superficial, partly immersed, composed of branched or occasionally fasiculate, septate, smooth or near so, subhyaline to brown, 1.1-4.8 μm wide hyphae. Conidiophores macronematous, mononematous, straight or curved, septate, smooth, paler brown to middle brown, 43.2-136.0 X 4.8-5.2 μm, often slightly constricted at the septate. Conidiogenous cells denticulate, sympodial, terminal or intercalary. Conidia fusiform, with truncated denticale at the base, short subulate at the apex, smooth or near so, olive brown, 22.4-34.0 X 6.0-9.0 μm.

 Note: This species is characterized by denticulate, sympodial conidiogenous cells and especially fusiform, olive brown, smooth conidia with a truncated denticale at the baase and short subulate at the apex.
