 Description: Colonies diameter on Oat Meal Agar 65 mm in 36 days at 25°C, effuse, more or less floccose at the center, olive brown; reverse olive brown to brownish grey. Mycelium mostly immersed, partly superficial composed of branched, septate, smooth to roughened, pale brown to dark reddish brown hyphae. Conidiophores macronematous, mononematous, simple, straight or slightly flexuous, smooth or occasionally finely roughened at the base, dark brown, paler towords the apex, 79.4-317.4 X 6.4-9.6 μm. Conidiogenous cells monoblastic, integrated, terminal, percurrent. Conidia solitary, acrogenous, globose to ellipsoidal or obovoid, truncate 6.0-8.3 μm wide at the base, dark brown or black, smooth, 25.8-42.0 X 25.4-34.0 μm.

 Note: This species is distinguished by its conspicuously longer, septate, brown conidiophores, percurrent conidiogenous cells and huge, globose, dark brown, smooth conidia with a wide truncated at the base.
