Description: | Growth onYM agar: After 7 days at 25℃, streak is cream-colored, moist, and glistening, strongly elevated and cerebriform surfaces with smooth margins, which later showed narrow radial fissures (Fig. 25A). Growth is odorless. After 3 days at 25°C, the cells are cylindrical or rectangular, (2.8-4.4 × 2.8-6.0) μm, usually clustered in pairs and chains Dalmau plate culture on corn meal agar: True hyphae divided and broke up as regularly arthrospores that measured (2.1-2.8 × 2.8-7.0) μm. True hyphae formed abundantly. Shorter lateral branches often terminated with clavate conidia measured (1.4-3.5 × 2.8-8.4) μm. Most arthrospores occurred outside the coverslip. | |||
