Description: | Growth on yeast extract-malt extract agar: After 3 days at 25 ℃, the cells are subglobose (3.3-6.1×3.0-6.0 μm), single or in pairs. Vegetative reproduction is accomplished by multilateral budding. Growth on yeast extract-malt extract agar: After 7 days at 25 ℃, streak cultures are creamy, butyrous, smooth, pulvinate, dull and entire. Dalmau plate culture on corn meal agar: On Dalmau plate cultures on corn meal agar after 10 days at 25℃, pseudomycelium can be found under the cover glass. Formation of basidiospores:: After 10 days at 18 ℃ on CM agar, YM agar, McClary’s acetate agar, malt extract agar, and V8 agar, sexual spores are absent. | |||
