Description: | Vegetative hyphae hyaline, septate, 2.2?3.5 μm in diam; conidia developed on sterigmata arising singly from clamp connections or directly from the hyphae; sterigmata 2.0?5.5 μm in height, 0.3?0.5 μm in diam at the tip, bearing a single terminal conidium; conidia elongate, cylindrical, curved, usually 8.5?13 × 3?5 μm; trapping nematodes by means of adhesive hourglass cells from fertile hyphae, dead nematodes felled with hyaline, branched hyphae bearing clamp connections at the septa. | |||
