 Description: On PDA, growth is very slow, with bright orange sporodochia formed in the dense and white aerial mycelium. Colonies reach 0.65 cm diameter for 4 days at 24℃. Macroconidia produced from sparsely branched monophialides are small, allantoid, strongly curved, 3-septate, 17.5- 20.0 × 3.0-3.3 μm and the basal cell is not foot-shaped. Microconidia and chlamydospores are absent.

 Habitat: on scale insects, often occur with other entomological host fungi, i. e. with Nectria coccophila.
