Description: | On PDA, growth is very slow, with bright orange sporodochial layers formed in the sparse aerial mycelium. Colonies reach 0.23 cm diameter for 4 days at 24℃.The phialides are cylindrical or somewhat bulbous towards the apex. Microconidia are absent. Macroconidia are very long and cylindrical, slightly curved, thick-walled, 5-9 septate, 87.5-112.5 × 6.3-7.5 μm, with a foot-shaped basal cell and a narrowed or bent apical cell. Chlamydospores are absent. | |||
