Description: | Colonies diameter on Oat Meal Agar 44 mm in 56 days at 25°C, velvety, powdery, brownish grey to black; reverse greyish yellow to black. Mycelium immersed, composed of branched, septate, smooth to verrucose, subhyaline to pale yellowish brown, 0.8-4.8 μm wide hyphae. Conidiophores macronematous, mononemaotus, alternately branched; stipes straight or slightly curved, 0-3-septate, granules-walled or verrucose, pale olivaceous brown to dark olivaceous, often paler towards the base, 47.6-80.0 μm long, 3.2-6.4 μm wide slightly tappering towards the apex. Conidiogenous cells discrete, phialidic, crowded at the apex of stipe; phialides 7.2-12.0 × 3.2-6.1 μm. Conidia broadly ellipsoidal or subglobose, 8.0-10.4 × 4.4-6.8 μm, smooth, pale olivaceous brown, becoming verrucose, black when maturation. | |||
