 Description: Leaf spots none or indistinct yellowish areas on the upper surface. Fruiting hypophyllous as sooty layer on the lower surface, forming orbicular or angular spots, 7-8 mm in diameter, sometimes covering much of the leaf area. Secondary mycelium absent. Stromata lacking. Conidiophores meagre to fairly dense in a divergent fascicle, medium brown, pale at the apex, irregular in width, rarely branched or geniculate, straight to variously curved, closely and plainly septate, sometimes constricted at the septa, 40- 200 × 4-5.5 μm, conidial scars inconspicuous. Conidia subhyaline to pale olivaceous brown, cylindric to obclavate, straight to mildly curved, 3-8 septate, sometimes constricted at the septa, tip subobtuse to rounded, base obconically truncate, 30-80 × 4-6 μm, hilum unthickened.
