Description: | CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 21-23 mm, dense, plicate, fasciculate, margin narrow, entire, mycelium white, in aged culture overlaid with coremia; conidiogenesis abundant, dull green (27D3-4) to greyish green (27E-F4-7); exudate clear, greyish white (30A2) or greenish grey (30B-C2); soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish white to light yellow (4A2-4). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 11-15 mm, plane, fasciculate, margin narrow, entire; mycelium white, in aged culture overlaid with coremia; conidiogenesis abundant, dull green to greyish green (26-27E3-5); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish yellow (2B-C3-4). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: germination with limited growth. CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from coremia; stipes, vesiculate, sinuous, septate, 54-224 × 4.4-4.8 μm, roughened, thick walled; penicilli mostly terverticil-late often biverticillate; rami in groups of 2, 17.4-22.0 × 3.4-3.7 μm; metulae in verticils of 5-7, smooth to finely roughened, 9.8-14.8 × 4.0-4.8 μm; phialides in verticils of 2-6, ampulliform to cylindroidal, smooth, 8.7-14.4 × 3.2-4.0 μm, collula very short, abruptly tapering; conidia mostly cylindroidal, less often ellipsoidal or obpyriform, 4.4-9.3 × 2.0-3.7 μm, smooth, thin walled, borne in irregularly compact columns. | |||
