 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 47-53 mm, center raised, pulvinate, sulcate, floccose, margin broad, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis moderate to heavy, greenish grey (26C-D2-3); exudate clear; soluble pigment absent; reverse orange grey to greyish orange (5B2-4) or yellowish grey to greyish yellow (4B2-3). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 47-52 mm, velutinous, center somewhat raised, floccose, margin thin, effuse, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis moderate, greyish green (28B3-5); exudate clear; soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish orange (5B3-5), yellowish white to pale yellow (4A2-3). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 13-19 mm; center deep, wrinkled, floccose, margin narrow, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis moderate-heavy, greenish grey to greyish green (26-27C2-4); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish yellow (4B3-5). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from aerial mycelium; stipes septate, 16-308 × 1.6-2.8 μm, finely roughened to roughened, more or less thick walled; penicilli mostly biverticillate, sometimes monoverticillate, occasionally terverticillate; me-tulae in verticils of 2-3, 9.6-16.6 × 1.2-2.8 μm, finely roughened to roughened; phialides in verticils of 2-6, ampulliform to acerose, elongate, smooth to very finely roughened, 8.0-11.6 × 2.0-2.8 μm; conidia mostly ellipsoidal, often subspherical, pyriform, 2.4-3.8 × 2.0-3.3 μm, smooth to roughened, more or less thick walled, borne in defined, short columns.
