Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 50-56 mm, distinctly radially sulcate, velutinous, dense, margin narrow, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis anundant, greenish grey to greyish green (27C-D2-4); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse orange grey to greyish orange (5B2-4). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 53-60 mm, plane, velutinous, center and sectors somewhat floccose; margin entire, broad; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, greenish grey to greyish green (26B-C2-3); exudate and soluble pigments absent; reverse yellowish white to pale yellow (3A2-3). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 19-21 mm; center somewhat raised, subcenter low, wrinkled, floccose, margin broad, effuse, entire; mycelium white, yellowish white (3A2-3); conidiogenesis heavy, greenish white to pastel green (25A2-4) or greyish green (25A-B2-4); exudate minute yellowish white to pale yellow (3A2-3); soluble pigment absent; reverse light yellow to vivid yellow or greyish yellow (3A-B6-8). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: with limited growth, colony diameter 4-6 mm. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA mostly borne from superficial mycelium; stipes septate, 36-510 × 2.4-3.2 μm, very finely roughened to finely roughened, thick-walled; penicilli biverticillate, occasionally monoverticillate or terverticillate; metulae appressed, in verticils of 2-5, very finely roughened, 8.8-12.8 × 2.4-3.8 μm; phialides in ver-ticils of 3-9, ampulliform, smooth, 7.2-11.2 × 2.4-3.8 μm, collula gradually tapering with a length of 1.6-2.8 μm; conidia predominantly ellipsoidal, 2.4-5.6 × 2.0-4.0 μm, smooth to finely roughened, thick walled, borne on loosely irregular columns.
