MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 28-32 mm, plane, floccose, margin entire, effuse; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, dark green (27F4-6), greyish green (27E4-5); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish orange (5E4-5), greyish yellow (4B3-5), olive brown (4D4-6) or olive to olive yellow (13D4-6). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 17-18 mm; center raised, pulvinate, floccose, subcenter and margin velutinous, margin entire, narrow; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant; exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish to brownish orange (5B-C-3-5), greyish green (28D-E-4-6) or yellowish grey to greyish yellow (3B2-3). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: colony diameters 12-18 mm, raised, wrinkled, velutinous, margin low, flat, narrow; mycelium white; conidiogenesis moderate, greyish green (27D-E4-6); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish brown (5D-F4-6). Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from surface mycelium; stipes septate, 100-300 × 3.2-4.0 μm, smooth, thick walled; penicilli mostly biverticillate, occa-sionally monoverticillate; metulae in verticils of 2-3(5), smooth, 15.5-21.8 × 3.2-3.9 μm; phialides appressed in verticils of 5-7, ampulliform to cylindroidal, smooth, 9.6-12.8 × 2.8-3.2 μm, collula short, mostly very narrow; conidia broadly ellipsoidal, sometimes sub-spheroidal, 2.4-6.0 × 2.4-4.0 μm, smooth to finely roughened, thin walled, borne in defined columns.
