 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 28-32 mm, dense, center deep, radially sulcate, ve-lutinous, margin thin, effuse; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, greenish grey to greyish green (26-27B-C2-3); exudate clear; soluble pigment absent; reverse golden grey-blond (4C2-4), olive brown (4D3-4) or greyish yellow (4B3-5). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 22-24 mm, plane, velutinous, margin low, effuse, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, dull green (27D-E3-4); exudate and solu-ble pigment absent; reverse greenish grey to greyish yellow (1B2-3), or greyish green (1C2-4). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 9-13 mm, center raised, somewhat sulcate, floccose, margin low, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (25C3-4, 25D3-4); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish grey to greyish yellow (4B2-4) or dull yellow (3B2-3). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from superficial and aerial myce-lium; stipes septate, 126-300 × 2.4-4.3 μm, smooth, thick walled; penicilli terverticillate, occasionally quaterverticillate, irregular; rami in groups of 2-3, 6.3-16.7 × (2.4) 3.8-4.4 μm; smooth; metulae appressed, in verticils of 1-3, smooth, 8.7-10.0 × 2.0-3.2 μm; phialides in verticils of 3-7, ampulliform, smooth, 8.7-12.7 × 2.0-3.2 μm, collula abruptly tapering, short; conidia ellipsoidal, 2.0-3.5 × 2.0-2.4 μm; finely roughened, more or less, thick walled, borne in irregular columns.
