Description: | CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 18-28 mm, center somewhat raised, radially sulcate, velutinous, center floccose, margin narrow, entire; mycelium pale yellow to pastel yellow (1A3-4), margin white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (25C-D5-6); exudate lack-ing; soluble pigment light to greyish yellow (4A-B4-5); reverse reddish brown (8D4-5), greyish red (8C3-5) or yellowish white to light yellow (4A2-4). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 26-29 mm, velutinous, margin entire; mycelium white to greenish yellow (1A-B8); conidiogenesis abundant, dark green (28F4-6); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse pastel red to orange red (8A5-6), light orange to orange (6A5-7), olive (1-2E4-5), yellowish white (3A2). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 6-6 mm, growth restricted. CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne mostly from aerial mycelium; stipes septate, 85-195 × 2.4-3.2 μm, smooth to finely roughened, thin walled; penicilli strictly biverticillate; metulae in verticils of 5-7, smooth to finely roughened, 11.1-14.3 × 2.4-2.8 μm; phialides in verticils of 3-7, acerose, smooth, 10.3-13.8 × 2.4-2.8 μm, collula long, gradually tapering; conidia ellipsoidal, 2.8-3.2 × 2.0-2.8 μm, smooth, thick walled, borne in long, loose or irregular columns. | |||
