 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 20-24 mm, center deep wrinkled, subcenter raised sulcate, dense, velutinous, margin entire, more or less narrow; mycelium mustard yellow to Naples yellow (3B6-7), white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish to dark green (27E-F5-6); exudate yellowish white to light yellow (1A2-5); soluble pigment light yellow to yellow (3A5-7); reverse brownish orange (5C4-6), olive brown (4D4-7) or olive (3E4-6). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 17-21 mm, plane, low, velutinous, margin entire, thin, effuse; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish to dark green (26E-F5-8), exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish green (27C3-4) or yellowish grey to greyish yellow (4C2-4). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 10-11 mm, radially sulcate, floccose, margin irregular, dense; mycelium white; exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish yellow (4B-C3-5) or partel red to yellowish red (8A4-6). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from superficial mycelium; stipes septate, apices vesiculate, up to 7.9 μm, 24-138 × 2.4-4.0 μm, smooth or roughened to conspicuously roughened, thin walled, strictly monoverticillate, bearing verticils of 12-31 phialides; phialides ampulliform to slightly acerose, 7.2-9.5 × 2.4-3.2 μm, collula short, sometimes gradually tapering; conidia mostly spheroidal, (2.2) 2.6-3.4 (4.8) μm, thin walled, finely roughened to roughened, borne in compact, slender long well-defined columns.
