 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 15-20 mm, center raised, radially sulcate, center floc-cose, subcenter velutinous, dense; margin somewhat floccose, entire; mycelium white to orange white (5A2); conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (22E3-5) to dark green (25F3-5); exudates yellowish white, pale yellow (1A2-2), greenish white or pale green (30B2-3); soluble pigment faint, yellowish white to pale yellow (3A2-3) or reverse brown (6E6-8), brownish orange (6C3-5), light brown (6D6-7). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 17-23 mm, plane, margin low, floccose, margin velutinous; mycelium white to pale yellow (4A3); conidiogenesis light to moderate, greenish grey to greyish green (27B2-3); exudates and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish yellow (4B3-4). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 17-18 mm; center somewhat raised, margin sulcate; floccose, margin entire effuse; mycelium white; conidiogenesis light to moderate, greenish grey to greyish green; exudates and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish yellow (4B3-4). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from aerial hyphae; stipes septate, 113-192.0 × 2.4-2.8 μm, smooth, thin walled; penicillin biverticillate, occasionally monoverticillate or terverticillate; metulate in verticals of 2-4, smooth-finely roughened, 8.8-12.4 × 2.4-3.2 μm; phialides in verticils of 3-9, ampulliform, smooth to finely roughened, 4.8-8.0 × 2.4-3.2 μm, collula gradually tapering; conidia mostly spheroidal, sometimes ellipsoidal, 2.4-3.6 × 3.3 μm, roughened with striations, thick walled, mostly borne in short, disordered chains.
