MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 17-22 mm, velutinous, center floccose, margin low, effuse, entire; mycelium brownish orange to light brown (6C-D6-8) or yellowish white (3-4A2); conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (27E4-6) to greyish turquoise (24C-D4-5); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse orange white to pale orange (5A2-3), pale to pastel yellow (3C3-4) or yellowish white (3A2). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 3-5 mm, floccose, margin low, entire; mycelium pale yellow to light yellow (4A3-4), white; conidiogenesis moderate; exudates tiny droplets, clear; soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish white to light yellow (4A2-5). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: colony diameters 10-15 (20) mm, center deep, crateriform, subcenter, sulcate, velutinous, margin, narrow, entire, floccose; mycelium white to deep orange (6B7-8); conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (28-29E4-6); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse brownish orange to light brown (6C-D5-6), light orange to orange (6A5-6) or greyish orange (6B6-7). Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne mostly from aerial and superficial mycelium; stipes septate, 37-95 × 2.4-2.8 μm, smooth, thick-walled; penicilli biverticillate, less commonly terverticillate; rami in groups of 2-3, 9.5-23.8 × 2.4-2.8 μm; metulae in ver-ticils of 3-7, 7.9-9.5 × 2.0-2.4 μm; phialides in verticals of 5-7, acerose, smooth, 8.7-11.9 × 2.0-2.4 μm, collula long, gradually tapering; conidia broadly ellipsoidal to subspheroidal, 3-3.5 × 2.4-3.6 μm, smooth, thin walled, borne in well-defined columns.
