 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 17-23 mm, flat, velutinous, center somewhat raised, funiculose, margin floccose, narrow, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green to olive (27D4-6, 30-1D-E3); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse brownish orange (5C4), greyish orange (5B3-4), light blood (4C3) or yellowish white (4A2). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 33-39 mm, plane, velutinous, margin narrow, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, dull green (26D3-4); exudates and soluble pig-ment absent; reverse olive brown (4D3-4), margins yellowish white (3A2). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: no growth. CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from superficial and aerial myce-lium; stipes septate, 47-254 × 19.5-39.0 μm, smooth, thin-walled; penicillin biverticillate, sometimes monoverticillate, or terverticillate; rami smooth, in group of 2, 30.2-40.5 × 4.8-6.3 μm; metulae in verticils of 2-3, smooth, 7.9-18.3 × 3.2-3.9 μm; collula short, 1.6-2.4 μm; conidia ellipsoidal-cylindroidal, greenish white to pale green (29A2-3), 4.0-10.3 × 3.2-7.1 μm, smooth, thin walled, borne in irregular columns.
