 Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 25-30 mm, dense, radially sulcate, center deep, ve-lutinous, margin entire, narrow; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, dull green (28D3-5) to greyish green (28E4-6); exudate clear or very faint yellowish white (1A2); soluble pigment absent; reverse orange grey to greyish orange (5B2-4). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 34.5-36 mm, plane, velutinous, margin thin, effuse; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (28E4-6); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse golden grey to light blood (4C2-3), olive brown (4D3-4), greyish orange (4D3-4), yellowish white (2A2) or orange white (5A2). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 4-7 mm, somewhat raised, velutinous, margin effuse, thin; conidiogenesis light to moderate, greenish grey (26B2); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse yellowish white (4A2, 2A2). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: no germination. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne from superficial and aerial mycelium; stipes septate, 14-276 × 1.6-2.4 μm, smooth walled, thin walled; penicilli biverticillate, sometimes monoverticillate, occasionally terverticillate; metulate in verticils of 2-3(5), smooth walled, 10.4-25.6 × 1.6-3.2 μm; phialides in verticils of 1-6, ampulliform, smooth, occasionally very finely roughened, 5.6-8.8 × 2.4 μm, collula gradually tapering, sometimes up to 2.4 μm in length; conidia globose to subglobose, 2.4-3.2 μm, roughened with transverse ridges, thin walled, borne in narrow, disordered chains.
