Description: CYA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 27-35 mm, center raised, floccose, subcenter sulcate, dense, velutinous, margin entire, narrow; mycelium white; conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (25D-E4-6); exudate clear; soluble pigment very faint, orange white to pale orange (5B2-3); reverse orange grey to greyish orange (5B2-5). MEA, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 33-35 mm, velutinous, margin, thin, low, entire; my-celium white to orange white (5A2); conidiogenesis abundant, greyish green (25D4-5); exudate and soluble pigment absent; reverse greyish yellow (2C4-5), pastel yellow to yellow (3-4A3-6) or yellowish white (1-2A2). G25N, 25°C, 7 days: colony diameters 14-17 mm, center somewhat raised, sulcate, velutinous, margin narrow, entire; mycelium white; conidiogenesis moderate to abundant, greyish green (25C3-4); exudate absent; soluble pigment very faint, orange white (5A2); reverse orange white to pale orange (5A2-3). CYA, 5°C, 7 days: germination with limited growth. CYA, 37°C, 7 days: no germination. Conidiophores and conidia: conidiophores on MEA borne mostly from aerial mycelium; stipes septate, 24-260 × 3.2-4.0 μm, smooth to finely roughened, more or less thick walled; penicilli mostly terverticillate, sometimes biverticillate, occasionally monoverticillate or quaterverticillate; rami finely roughened, in group of 2, 8.8-28.0 × 2.4-3.6 μm; ramuli finely roughened, 11.6-22.2 × 3.0-3.3 μm; metulae in verticils of 2-7, finely roughened, 9.4-12.7 × 2.4-3.2 μm; phialides in verticils of 2-5, ampulliform, occasionally acerose, smooth to finely roughened, 8.8-12 × 2.4-3.2 μm, collula gradually tapering; conidia predominantly ellipsoi-dal, sometimes subspheroidal, 3.6-4.0 × 2.4-4.0 μm, smooth, thin walled, borne in defined, open column.
