Description: Host covered by mycelium, white to yellowish white (4A2), powdery. Hyphae hyaline, sep-tate, branched, smooth-walled, 2.0-4.0 μm wide. Conidiophores smooth-walled, hyaline, 2.0-2.8 μm wide, bearing groups of swollen lateral cells, globose, ellipsoidal to cylindrical, 3.2-5.6 × 2.8-4.8 μm, further branching, giving rise to 1-5 smaller swollen cells or 1-6 phialides in the first or second order, occasionally the phialides solitarily arising from hyphae. Phialides smooth-walled, 3.2-5.2 × 2.0-3.2 μm, flask-shaped, with a globose to subglobose basal portion, tapering into a distinctly thin neck, ca. 0.8 μm wide. Conidia ovoid to ellipsoidal, often asymmetrically apiculate, occasionally lemon-shaped, one-celled, catenulate, smooth-walled, hyaline, 2.4-3.2 × 1.6-2.1 μm. Chlamydospores absent.
