 Description: Leaf spots elliptical, grey with purplish brown margin, 3-20 mm long. Fruiting amphigenous. Stromata none or well developed, up to 80 nm wide, dark brown. Conidiophores 2-20 in a divergent fascicle, brown, paler at the apex, erect, not branched, 1-7 septate, 0-6 geniculate, rounded or subtruncate at the apex, 40-120 × 4-6 μm; conidial scars conspicuously thick-ened. Conidia obclavate, hyaline, mostly curved at the apex or undulate, 3-7 septate, acute at the apex, base tapered to a thickened hilum, 40-100 × 3-4.5 μm. Speciemns examined: Taiwan, Taichung, 8 Oct. 1910, holotype in Herb. NTU-PPE.
