Description: | Leaf spots circular, 1.5-4 or even 8 mm in diameter, brown with discolorated border, some-times zonate, occasionally falling out and leaving a shot-hole effect. Fruiting amphigenous. Stromata lacking or several brown cells. Conidiophores borne singly or 2-6 in a fascicle, pale to very pale brown, paler and more narrow towards the apex, branching absent, straight or geniculate, septate, truncate at the apex, 20-200 × 3-5 μm; conidial scars conspicuously thickened. Conidia hyaline, acicular, straight to mildly curved, indistinctly multiseptate, acute at the apex, truncate at the base with a distinctly thickened hilum, 50-300 × 2-3.5 μm. | |||
