 Description: Infected homopteran host covered with dense weft of mycelium, white, yellowish white (3A2) to pale yellow (3A3), pulverulent to pruinose. Hyphae branched, septate, hyaline, smooth-walled, 1.6-2.7 μm wide. Conidiophores erect, septate, branched, 1.6-2.4 μm wide, bearing solitary or whorls of 2-4 phialides. Phialides subulate, awl-shaped, occasionally 1-septate, orthtropic or plagiotropic, 11.1-45.2 × 1.4-2.0 μm. Conidia in short chains, ellipsoidal to ovoid, occasionally cylindrical, 2.4-5.0 × 1.3-2.1 μm, sometimes slightly apiculate at one or both ends, smooth-walled, hyaline, catenulate. Chlamydospores absent. Teleomorph unknown.
