Hymenial surface grayish brown, smooth, cracked when old; margin fairly determinate or slightly thinning, concolorous. Hyphal system monomitic; hyphae simple-septate. Subiculum fairly uniform, composed of a basal layer, with compact texture; hyphae brownish, mainly horizonal, sometimes glued together, 2-4 μm diam, with 0.5-1 μm thick walls. Hymenium thickening. Hymenial layer with compact texture; hyphae brownish-tinted, mainly vertical, thin-walled. Lamprocystidia numerous, immersed or emergent, overlapping in thicken hymenial layer, heavily encrusted, conical or subulate, yellow to brown, 25-40 × 8-11 μm (encrustation included), with 1.5-3 μm thick walls. Gloeocystidia colorless, cylindrical, usually tapering toward apices, 25-45 × 4-7 μm, thin- to slightly thick-walled, SA-. Basidia subclavate, 18-30 × 4.5-6 μm, usually thick-walled toward base, usually 2-sterigmate, sometimes 3- or 4-sterigmate.
